Classic Meatloaf

Nothing says home like the smell of Ma's meatloaf! This classic will never get old for me. People often think you have to add beef or pork fat to your ground wild game, NOT TRUE! Please don't do it. You can add your fats as you cook in a much healthier, organic way. Leave the meat in it's natural state. See below on the ingredients that make it all "stick together".


Prep time: 10 minutes


Cook time: 1 hour

Servings: 8


Ingredients

1-1 1/2 lbs ground meat

1 cup breadcrumbs

¼ cup milk

2 eggs

1 onion, diced

1/2 cup ketchup

1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce

½ tsp garlic salt

½ tsp ground black pepper


Instructions

Preheat oven to 375

Grease a standard loaf pan with nonstick spray

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl, mix thoroughly

Place mixture into loaf pan, pat down to ensure even distribution

Bake uncovered for 1 hour or until center is no longer pink

Top with ketchup or BBQ sauce if desired
